In this issue, Dr. Peter Lee from Macquarie University of Australia and Dr. Turuk Singh from Amity University Noida of India cooperated and organized manuscripts talking about various aspects of suicide. The act of suicide is a significant public health concern on a global scale. The incidence of suicide has exhibited a notable rise of approximately 36% during the period spanning from 2000 to 2021. Among adolescents and young adults, suicide ranks as the second-most prevalent cause of mortality. There are various factors that can augment the likelihood of suicide or serve as a safeguard against it. Preventing suicide is a critical measure in providing assistance to individuals who are at risk.
