Marta Pellegrini is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florence, Italy.  She spent nine months working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Research and Reform in Education at Johns Hopkins University under the direction of Dr. Robert Slavin and his colleagues.  She has written review on effective programs in elementary mathematics, as well as papers on methodological issues in meta-analysis. She published a book in Italian on evidence-based reform and methods for meta-analysis. Her research interests include evidence-based education, and systematic reviews.
